We at AIRHAWKE take our environmental, social and governance responsibilities seriously and endeavour to incorporate them every day in the business we do.

We aim to be part of the solution in business aviation, looking to incorporate an increasing number of sustainable practices, to give back to the communities around us, and to uphold the strongest ethical standards in how we do business. Our goal is to be a supplier of choice and to work with suppliers and customers that align with our ESG vision as much as possible.

Here is what we’ve committed to so far:

Environmental

Objective

Design and engineer aircraft solutions with the least environmental impact.

Strategy

  • Augment the energy efficiency of our production processes and site operations.
    • Our innovative use of augmented reality (AR) drastically reduces paper consumption as it allows clients to visualize design and engineering drawings in 3D via goggles. We also send clients digital design and engineering plans.
    • We have significantly increased our team’s percentage of work done remotely. Not only are employees allowed to work remotely several times a week, promoting the reduction of carbon emissions from commuting while improving our team’s work-life balance, but our AR solution allows our team to oversee some design and engineering work remotely and explain concepts to clients.
  • Provide clients sustainable engineering solutions, wherever possible.
    • We offer and promote environmentally friendly products to clients, whenever possible.
    • Our solutions always seek to reduce the aircraft’s weight, which saves on fuel consumption.
  • Decrease the environmental footprint at our offices and sites. We have:
    • Instituted a recycling program and have trained employees how to use it properly.

Social

Objective

Support our employees and people in need in the communities around us.

Strategy

  • Support our employees’ health and safety by providing free access to mental health resources and ensuring our offices abide by all required safety protocols.
  • Promote Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in our company by increasing the number of employees from underrepresented groups and ensuring their opportunities for promotions. We are also actively encouraging women to pursue careers in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) and apply for positions at AIRHAWKE.
  • Champion the next generation of aerospace engineers by sponsoring university engineering programs and events.
  • Support people in need in the communities around us, both in terms of team volunteer work and corporate sponsorships.

  • Safeguard supply chain quality control, preferring suppliers with sustainable practices and strong ethical and employment values.
